JASON CHAFFETZ OFFICIALLY FILES TO RUN FOR U.S. CONGRESS

SALT LAKE CITY—Jason Chaffetz, Republican Candidate for the
U.S. House of Representatives in Utah’s Third Congressional
District, today officially filed paperwork with the Lt.
Governor’s Office to run for public office.
“This election is about restoring Utah’s conservative
voice in Congress. I am committed to fiscal discipline,
limited government, accountability, and strong national
security. If we expect different results in Washington
D.C., we are going to have to elect different people,” said
Jason Chaffetz.
“My candidacy is about the issues most important to
Utahns. I want to fix illegal immigration, repeal No Child
Left Behind, boost our support for our troops, and get
serious about cutting our federal budget. This message is
resonating with voters, and so today I have filed official
paperwork to be on the ballot,” said Jason Chaffetz.
