UTAH STATE FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE ENDORSES JASON
CHAFFETZ
FOR CONGRESS

TAYLORSVILLE, UTAH—By unanimous vote, the Utah State
Fraternal Order of Police (F.O.P.) has elected to endorse
Jason Chaffetz, Republican Candidate for the U.S. House of
Representatives in Utah’s Third Congressional District.

“Electing a law enforcement friendly candidate to
Congress is critical to police officers in Utah," said Chad
A. Soffe, President of Utah State F.O.P. "If voters care
about law enforcement, they’ll join us getting Jason
Chaffetz elected. Our officers have seen Jason on the
streets joining us to understand our issues. We know he
cares about us. We are going to work hard to help Jason
Chaffetz get elected.”

At a February 7 F.O.P. meeting, Chaffetz spoke to FOP
representatives from across the state.

“It is an honor to have the support of law
enforcement," Chaffetz said. "Every day they put their
lives on the line to keep our communities safe. As your
Congressman, I will do everything I can to support these
brave men and women. I appreciate their stepping forward
and supporting my bid for Congress."

About F.O.P.: Founded in 1915, the Fraternal Order of
Police (the "F.O.P.") is the largest organization of police
